Štrbské Pleso is the largest area of the cross-country skiing. Six circuits of different difficulty levels can be found here. In the case of insufficient snow cover the tracks are snowed with artificial snow. Entry fee is voluntary in a form of contribution boxes (EUR 2). The funds are used for the maintenance and servicing of the tracks, snow-making and illumination. Cross-country ski rental shop for all the age groups is located in the area. You can also try here the skating style of cross-country skiing.

Smokovce

Smokovce area prides itself with more than 20 km long tracks in the nature. You will appreciate less crowded tracks. Intermediate tracks where you can try classic as well as skating style are located here.

Tracks:

• Starý Smokovec Kyselka – Grand Hotel Bellevue: 4.4 km
• Dolný Smokovec – Stará Lesná: 5.6 km
• Starý Smokovec - Vyšné Hágy: 7.7 km

Tatranská Lomnica

Approximately 9 km of high-quality cross-country skiing tracks can be found in near Tatranská Lomnica. You can choose from 3 tracks:

• Tatranská Lomnica cable car – Hlboká –  Tatranská Lomnica cable car: 3 km
• Tatranská Lomnica housing estate – Tatranská Lesná Camp: 5 km
• Tatranská Lomnica – Kolbisko – Golfová lúka –TANAP Museum – Tatranské Matliare: 13 km

You can try classic as well as skating style here, except for the track leading through Hlboká.
